I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel for travelers and families. She is one of the key reasons why we will pick Drury to stay at again when we return to KC in 6 months to do the final court appearance for the adoption. I couldn't say enough fabulous things about her. She interacted with our kids and made us feel welcome. She went above and beyond in making our stay fabulous. There was a gentlemen who was also great- who I am unsure of his name, but he always offered to pick up plates from the tables when we were done eating. Dawn at the front desk was fabulous and very supportive. Many of them knew we were doing an adoption and followed us along in our journey. Everyone was so welcoming and the staff became familiar with our faces. The highlight of our trip there though and what will bring us back is the staff. My only complaint was that it was a bit cold, but the kids still loved it. The kick back dinner was great and we used this as our meal for several nights of the trip to save some money. The staff working the breakfast area were fabulous and everything was always clean. The breakfasts were fabulous and always hot. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We rented a suite with a king bed in the bedroom and then used the pull out couch in the living room. We ended up needing to stay for 15 nights as we waited for all the legal issues to go through. So we instead picked the airport location. We were originally going to stay at one of the other properties but noted that they were sold out one of the nights we needed. I researched trip advisor to find a hotel and stumbled on the Drury chain. My husband and I, along with our three children- ages 9,7, and 3 traveled from MN to KC to adopt our new niece who was being born.
